The new collaboration brings together manga, football and food with an exclusive menu, collectible mini-mangas and limited-edition merchandise.

McDonald’s France has teamed up with BLUE LOCK Episode Nagi for a major new collaboration combining the worlds of manga, football and food.

Running from September 22 to October 26, 2026, the campaign introduces a dedicated BLUE LOCK Episode Nagi menu featuring Nagi Bao Burgers, available in beef, chicken and fish versions, alongside a passion fruit Sprite and a KitKat White Matcha McFlurry.

At the heart of the collaboration is also a collection of five exclusive 32-page mini-mangas, developed especially for the campaign in partnership with French publisher Pika Édition. Released progressively throughout the activation, the stories bring the BLUE LOCK Episode Nagi characters together with fictional Ligue 1 McDonald’s players in five French cities: Paris, Marseille, Rennes, Lille and Monaco.

The experience extends across themed packaging and restaurant displays, while fans can also unlock exclusive collectibles through the McDo+ loyalty programme.

The partnership highlights the strong cultural and commercial momentum of BLUE LOCK in France, where the manga franchise has sold 5.5 million copies since 2021, including 1.5 million in 2025 alone.

By connecting one of today’s leading manga properties with football, food and collectible content, the McDonald’s campaign represents another significant brand collaboration for the expanding BLUE LOCK franchise.
